Senior Account Manager

Digital Dispatch Systems (DDS), a publicly traded company, is a global provider of advanced wireless mobile data systems. We specialize in the design, development and deployment of fleet management systems for real-time dispatching, vehicle location, tracking and computerized routing and scheduling in multiple vertical markets.

Job Scope:

DDS is currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales, North America, the Senior Account Manager will structure winning strategies and direct sell and/or account manage Digital Dispatch Systems’ taxi and mobile device solutions to an assigned sales territory. This position will require a strong emphasis on lead generation and daily prospecting to enable achievement of business objectives and quarterly revenue targets. The Senior Account Manager will prepare proposals for new and existing customers, present to and negotiate with executive level clients, and close opportunities with a high level of customer satisfaction.

As the ideal candidate, you are highly motivated with a proven track record in outside sales, with at least four to ten years experience in software and capital equipment sales into service or transportation industries. You have excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and computer skills, as well as an understanding of complex system sales. Software and/or wireless communications experience and a university degree are preferred. There will be some required travel within North America. This position will be based out of our New York, Kansas or Florida office, with some travel within North America required. This position will report to our World head quarters in Vancouver, Canada.
